Clever Cooking is an interactive food seminar to benefit Get Set Go Wellness Program. People taste enjoyable and healthy food they can incorporate into their daily lives as well as learn and take home delicious recipes. In today's fast-paced world with limited time and funds, Clever Cooking teaches people how to create quick and easy meals while maintaining great flavors and with the ability to fit within various budgets.
The seminar provides healthier alternatives to breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Clever Cooking empowers individuals with ways to maintain healthy weight as well as weight loss tips. It even teaches people how to prepare freezable meals, which save time, money, and assist with the reinforcement of a healthy lifestyle. Clever Cooking seeks to develop healthy habits that will remain with individuals throughout their lives. As a result, the risk of obesity and related health issues will be significantly reduced.
All proceeds from the Clever Cooking Interactive Food Seminar will benefit our Get Set Go Wellness Program, which began in 2010. Get Set Go is a free, fun, and comprehensive health initiative that encourages youth grades K-8 to become more active and healthy through nutrition and physical activity. The program increases youth physical activity and shows them how to make healthier eating choices in their existing environment. The program also seeks to combat the overwhelming epidemic of childhood obesity. Get Set Go is the largest youth wellness program in Bowling Green and there is no other program quite like it in the country. MORE INFO
